What is Aglow?
Aglow is a network of caring women.
Ladies, we would like to invite you to our monthly outreach meetings. Varied programmes, including visiting speakers, testimonies, worship and refreshments. This is a very friendly and safe environment to bring along your non-Christian friends and neighbours.
Through Aglow you can find supportive friendships, caring hearts, listening ears, a sense of belonging and purpose.
In Aglow you can also find a safe, joyful setting to learn about God. Together with other women you can discover what it means to grow in God and make a lasting difference in your world.
You'll hear other women's personal stories of how they are finding hope in today's world. You can experience discovery, recovery and make new friends.

A Worldwide Organization
Aglow is an interdenominational, worldwide organization for women, with more than 3,500 fellowships in more than 151 nations. It is one of the largest international Christian women's organizations in the world with over 1,400 groups called lighthouses in the U.S. and more than 2,100 groups outside the U.S.
Aglow is governed by an International Board of Directors from various nations in the world.
The Aims of Aglow
Aglow International is an interdenominational registered charity of Christian women whose mission is to lead women to Jesus Christ. It also aims to provide the opportunity for Christian women to grow in their faith and to minister to others.
The organisation is about women ministering to each other, having fellowship, worshiping, praising and glorifying God together in all areas of life.
Aglow seeks to work toward spiritual unity among Christian believers, encouraging women to be active members of their local churches, learning their unique role according to the bible.
What we believe
- We believe in one God- Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, crucified, dead, buried and resurrected. He ascended into Heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man.
- We believe the Bible is the word of God, is fully inspired and written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and is our rule of faith and practice.
- We believe that all are born sinners; the Holy Spirit convicts of sin; the Lord Jesus Christ paid the price for sin by shedding His precious blood on the cross as an atonement for sin; those who refuse to accept His sacrifice for their sin are eternally lost; those who repent of their sins and personally accept the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour receive forgiveness and life everlasting and are in dwelt by the Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance; that all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are valid and operative today; and that the fruit of the Holy Spirit should be increasingly evident in a Christian's life.
- We believe that the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ provides healing for our spirit, soul and body
- We believe that we should obey Jesus' command to preach the gospel to all the world.
- We believe that the members of the Body of Christ are the Church and that they should regularly fellowship with others in a local Church setting.
- We believe and look for the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
